Wind Turbine Installation Supervisor

Core Responsibilities:

1. Supervision & Leadership

   • Lead installation crews and subcontractors during turbine assembly and erection.

   • Ensure teams follow schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.

2. Planning & Coordination

   • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, crane operators, logistics teams, and commissioning engineers.

   • Review construction drawings, turbine manuals, and lift plans.

   • Ensure delivery of components (towers, nacelles, blades) is sequenced correctly.

3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

   • Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations (LOTO, working at height, confined space, lifting operations).

   • Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site inspections.

4. Technical Oversight

   • Supervise mechanical and electrical assembly of turbine components.

   • Oversee torqueing, tensioning, and alignment of components.

   • Ensure quality control and adherence to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards.

5. Problem-Solving

   • Respond quickly to technical or logistical issues on-site.

   • Liaise with engineering teams for troubleshooting.

6. Reporting & Documentation

   • Maintain progress reports, checklists, and HSE records.

   • Report daily/weekly updates to the Construction or Project Manager.
