Job Description

We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join a specialist R&D company developing next-generation EV and renewable energy systems. We would like a specialist in designing, developing, and testing electronic systems that control and convert electrical power efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and test power conversion systems

  • Develop PCB layouts and simulation models

  • Support prototype builds and validation testing

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • 3+ years’ experience in power electronics

  • Familiarity with simulation tools (PSIM, MATLAB, LTspice)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design & Development

    • Design power electronic circuits for AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-AC conversion.

    • Develop solutions for power supplies, inverters, converters, battery management systems (BMS), and motor drives.

    • Select appropriate components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN devices, capacitors, inductors, etc.) for efficiency and reliability.

  2. Simulation & Analysis

    • Use tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, or PSIM to simulate circuit behavior.

    • Perform thermal, EMI/EMC, and efficiency analysis to validate designs.

    • Conduct worst-case analysis and tolerance studies for robust performance.
