Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hard working Assistant Electrician to support electrical maintenance and operations on a offshore drilling rig. Working under the supervision of the Senior Electrician, you will help ensure all electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Support troubleshooting of electrical faults and system failures

Perform routine checks on generators, lighting, and control systems

Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety procedures and regulations

Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues

Assist during equipment installations, testing, and commissioning
Requirements:

Previous experience in electrical maintenance or a similar technical role

Relevant electrical qualification or apprenticeship

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures

Ability to work in a team within a fast-paced offshore environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work rotational offshore schedules
