Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Electronic Technician to support electronic and instrumentation activities within the oil and gas sector. This role offers hands-on experience in a safety-critical environment with opportunities for development.
Responsibilities:

Assist with installation, testing, and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation systems

Support fault finding and basic troubleshooting on control and monitoring equipment

Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks

Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for site activities

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical records
-
Comply with company, client, and industry health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:

Basic knowledge of electronics or instrumentation

Ability to use hand tools and basic test equipment

Awareness of safety practices in oil and gas environments
Minimum Requirements:
- BOSIET / FOET
- CA-EBS
- OEUK Medical or NL Offshore Medical Examination
- Valid Passport
- VCA (MIST is accepted as an alternative)
- Basic H2S Awareness
- S-Cape – preferred
- BSN Number – Preferred
Essential Requirements:
Electrician / ET (Including Assistant)
Electrical Qualifications / Apprenticeship – Essential
CompEx Hazardous – Essential for Electrician, Preferred for Assistant Electrician, ET and Assistant ET
