Job Description
PG Global is seeking an experienced Assistant Technical Section Leader (ATSL) to support the Technical Section Leader in managing technical operations offshore. You will assist with the supervision of technical personnel, coordinate maintenance activities, and help ensure equipment and systems remain safe, reliable, and operational throughout the assignment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Technical Section Leader with day-to-day technical operations
- Supervise and coordinate technical personnel and maintenance activities
- Monitor equipment condition and ensure planned maintenance is completed
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical faults
- Coordinate repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing
- Ensure maintenance records and technical documentation are kept up to date
- Support effective planning of maintenance and operational activities
- Ensure all work complies with company HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Liaise with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Assist during emergency response, drills, and critical operations
- Report equipment defects, operational issues, and maintenance requirements to the Technical Section Leader
Requirements:
- Previous offshore technical or supervisory experience
- Relevant technical qualifications and industry experience
- Deepwater experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of offshore maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment

- Valid Medical Certificate
- STCW Engine Room Resource Management Certificate
- STCW High Voltage Certificate
