Job Description
PG is seeking an experienced and dependable Bosun to join an offshore support vessel. Reporting to the Chief Officer, the Bosun will supervise deck operations and lead the deck ratings to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily deck activities and maintenance tasks

Lead deck crew during cargo operations, mooring, and anchor handling

Ensure proper upkeep of deck equipment, lifting gear, and safety equipment

Monitor compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems

Conduct toolbox talks and support onboard training

Assist with inspections, audits, and emergency drills
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bosun or senior AB on offshore or commercial vessels

Valid STCW certification and seafarer medical

Strong knowledge of deck operations, lifting procedures, and safety standards

Leadership and crew supervision experience

Ability to work rotational offshore schedules

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Mandatory Requirements:
- BOSIET / FOET
- CA-EBS
- MIST
- Passport
- Extensive experience in davit operations (experience does not need to be with a specific davit model however launching and recovering small boats using a davit is essential)
