Job Description
PG is looking for a hardworking and safety-driven Floorman to join a offshore drilling crew for an exciting position. As the Floorman you will support all rig floor operations, assist in handling drill pipes, maintain equipment and ensures the drilling area remains clean and hazard-free.
Responsibilities:
- Operate with and maintain rig tools to a good condition
- Perform essential basic maintenance
- Follow safety procedures by the book
- Support the Driller and Derrickman during active drilling operations
- Assist with rig-up and rig-down activities during equipment changes or well transitions
- Conduct regular safety checks and promptly report any hazards or equipment defects
Requirements:
- Previous rig or heavy-industry experience preferred
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured environment
