Job Description
PG Global is seeking an experienced HLO Crane Operator to support safe helicopter landing operations and offshore lifting activities on an installation. The successful candidate will coordinate helicopter movements, maintain the helideck in a safe condition and operate offshore crane equipment to support cargo and material handling operations. The role requires strong situational awareness, communication and commitment to offshore safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor helicopter landing and departure operations
- Maintain safe and controlled helideck operations
- Communicate with helicopter crews and offshore personnel
- Conduct helideck inspections and safety checks
- Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently
- Carry out pre-use crane inspections and operational checks
- Safely lift, move and position cargo and equipment
- Monitor lifting operations and ensure correct rigging procedures
- Report crane defects, hazards and unsafe conditions
- Maintain accurate lifting and helideck operational records
- Participate in emergency response, drills and toolbox talks
- Follow all company HSE, lifting and aviation procedures
Requirements:
- Previous HLO and offshore crane operating experience
- Valid HLO and crane operator certifications
- Offshore experience within Oil & Gas or energy operations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good understanding of lifting and aviation safety procedures
- Strong commitment to HSE standards
