Job Description

PG Global is looking for a qualified Party Manager to act as the project lead offshore, coordinating the client’s requirements with the vessel crew and offshore team. You are responsible for managing the survey team, ensuring data quality, overseeing operations, and acting as the primary offshore point of contact for the client.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field: Marine Engineering, Geophysics, Hydrography, Electronics, Surveying, or related discipline.

  • Strong background in offshore survey, ROV, or subsea operations (usually with years of hands-on field experience).

  • Knowledge of GIS, positioning, geophysical survey systems, and data acquisition software.

  • Typically 5–10+ years offshore experience in survey/ROV/geotechnical projects before stepping into OPM role.

  • Previous roles may include: survey engineer, ROV pilot technician, geophysicist, or senior surveyor.

  • Proven experience leading teams and dealing with offshore operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate survey/ROV/inspection teams onboard vessels or platforms.

  • Plan and oversee data acquisition, processing, and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality procedures.

  • Communicate with the offshore vessel master, project managers, and the onshore client team.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and make operational decisions in real-time.

  • Prepare daily progress reports and ensure project deliverables are met.
