Job Description
PG Global is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Roustabout to support general deck, cargo and drilling operations on an offshore installation. The Roustabout will assist with lifting activities, equipment handling, maintenance and housekeeping, helping ensure the rig remains safe, organised and operational.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading, unloading and securing cargo and equipment
- Support crane and lifting operations under supervision
- Handle pipes, tools, materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organised and hazard-free deck areas
- Assist with routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Support drill floor and deck crews when required
- Assist with rig-up, rig-down and general manual handling activities
- Report equipment defects, hazards and unsafe working conditions
- Support painting, cleaning and general maintenance tasks
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills
- Follow all HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements and company standards
Requirements:
- Good previous Roustabout or offshore experience
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions
- Basic understanding of offshore safety procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable approach and willingness to learn
- Strong commitment to HSE standards
