Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Subsea & Well Control Superintendent to oversee subsea operations and well control systems across various drilling activities. The successful candidate will ensure all subsea equipment and well control operations are maintained to the highest operational and safety standards. This role also has fantastic benefits where you will relocate as soon as possible to China.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, testing, and performance of subsea and well control equipment
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, drilling programs, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate BOP testing, inspections, and certification activities
- Support drilling teams during critical well control and subsea operations
- Monitor equipment reliability and implement corrective maintenance strategies
- Liaise with drilling contractors, subsea engineers, and onshore management teams
- Lead investigations into equipment failures and operational incidents
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in subsea or well control operations offshore
- Strong knowledge of BOP systems and drilling equipment
- Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to HSE and operational excellence
- Minimum of 5 years onshore experience as Senior Subsea Superintendent
- Minimum of 10 years offshore experience as Subsea Engineer/Senior Subsea Engineer
