Job Description
PG Global is looking to acquire a Marine Superintendent to be responsible for overseeing the technical management, safety, and operational efficiency of a fleet of vessels. In this role you will ensure that all ships comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and international maritime standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, etc.).

Monitor fleet performance, including fuel consumption, operational efficiency, and maintenance schedules.

Conduct inspections of vessels to assess condition, compliance, and readiness.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise dry-docking, maintenance, and repair activities.

Provide technical guidance and support to onboard officers and crew.

Review and approve vessel budgets, maintenance plans, and operational expenditures.

Ensure compliance with safety management systems (SMS) and environmental standards.

Manage audits, surveys, and inspections conducted by flag states, port authorities, or classification societies.
Qualifications:
- Marine shipping background and LNG experience

Valid Class 1 Certificate of Competency (for deck officers) or equivalent marine certification.

Minimum of 7–10 years of sea-going experience, including time in senior officer positions.

Experience managing multiple vessels and coordinating with technical and operational teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with fleet management software and reporting systems
