Job Description
PG Global is seeking Motormen for bulk carrier vessels. If this role suits your prowess you will become a member of the engine department responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of the ship’s or offshore installation’s machinery. Working under the direction of the Engineer Officers, you must ensure that all mechanical systems remain in safe, efficient working order.
Responsibilities:

Assist engineers in engine room operations.

Perform machinery maintenance and watchkeeping.

Maintain cleanliness of the engine room.

Perform routine checks, lubrication, and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, boilers, purifiers, and other mechanical equipment.

Monitor engine room machinery during operations and report any irregularities to the duty engineer.

Assist in carrying out repairs and overhauls on machinery and equipment as directed.
Requirements:

STCW III/4 Engine Room Watch Rating.

ENG1 Medical.
-
Minimum 12 months sea service.
