Job Description
PG Global is looking for an OIM to oversee personnel, production, maintenance, safety, and emergency response activities to ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the overall person in charge (PIC) of the offshore installation, responsible for the safety and welfare of all personnel onboard.

Manage daily offshore operations, including drilling, production, maintenance, logistics, and support functions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.

Lead and coordinate emergency response and safety management systems (SMS).

Conduct regular safety meetings, drills, and inspections to promote a strong safety culture.

Oversee and approve work permits, isolation procedures, and maintenance plans.

Ensure effective communication between offshore and onshore teams.
Qualifications:

Marine shipping background and LNG experience

Valid OIM license or certification (as required by regional regulatory authorities, e.g., OPITO, BSEE, etc.).

10 Years of experience in offshore operations and 3–5 years experience in a leadership or supervisory position.

Comprehensive understanding of offshore production, drilling, and maintenance processes.

Proven ability to manage emergency situations and maintain control under pressure.

Excellent knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and management systems.
