Job Description

PG Global is hiring skilled Offshore Electricians to support operations on a dynamic offshore project in the North Sea (UK Sector). You will play a key role in keeping all electrical systems on oil rigs, offshore platforms, and ships safe and operational.

Schedule: 28/28 Rotation

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Be part of a global team with a strong safety culture.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Installation & Commissioning

    • Install electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, lighting, power distribution panels, and control systems.

    • Ensure systems meet offshore safety and regulatory standards (like ATEX for hazardous areas).

  2. Maintenance & Inspection

    • Perform routine checks on generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and UPS (uninterruptible power supply).

    • Test and calibrate protection systems (overload relays, emergency shutdown systems).

    • Inspect cables, connections, and grounding systems to prevent faults.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid CompEx certification.

  • Offshore survival and medical certificates.

  • Previous offshore experience essential.

  • Problem-solving mindset and strong teamwork skills.
