Job Description
PG Global is hiring skilled Offshore Electricians to support operations on a dynamic offshore project in the North Sea (UK Sector). You will play a key role in keeping all electrical systems on oil rigs, offshore platforms, and ships safe and operational.
Schedule: 28/28 Rotation
What You’ll Do

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Core Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning
-
Install electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, lighting, power distribution panels, and control systems.

Ensure systems meet offshore safety and regulatory standards (like ATEX for hazardous areas).

Maintenance & Inspection

Perform routine checks on generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and UPS (uninterruptible power supply).

Test and calibrate protection systems (overload relays, emergency shutdown systems).

Inspect cables, connections, and grounding systems to prevent faults.

What We’re Looking For
-
Valid CompEx certification.

Offshore survival and medical certificates.
-
Previous offshore experience essential.

Problem-solving mindset and strong teamwork skills.
